    Game won’t start, black screen

    Try this before launching the game:

    • Right click on Outlast in your steam library
    • Properties
    • Local Files Tab
    • Browse Local Files button
    • Go into the _CommonRedist/vcredist/2010 folder
    • Run vcredist_x64.exe
