September has hit, and as we near the Season 7.1 update, we wanted to let you know some of what’s coming for this most recent update on September 8th at 10am ET and for the rest of the year in The Outlast Trials!

Season 7.1 – Coming September 8th This update will feature 2 new MK-Challenges and a new Limited-Time Event: Chemical Leak.
New Limited-Time Event: CHEMICAL LEAK
Poison is an intoxicating embrace that suffocates the body, just as false idols poison the beliefs of the weak, uneducated, and vulnerable. Shut off the valves, breathe freely, and remember that therapy is the only answer. This event will also feature its own exclusive Catalog.
New MK-Challenge: CHANGE THE PROGRAM
You are the crier, who knows that news does not have to be journalism, it only has to be new. Spread our truth, change the program, and we will let you out.
New MK-Challenge: FUND THE CAMPAIGN
You are the hammer in the hands of a child, to shatter the fragile swine who would separate success from the government it created. Money is the future of speech. Fund the campaign and we will let you out.
End of Mod Support as of Season 7.1
Starting September 8 with the Season 7.1 update mod support is no longer available. While we recognize that mods can offer useful customization, some can provide gameplay advantages or alter the game in unintended ways. To maintain a fair and consistent experience for everyone across all game modes, mods are no longer supported.
We’ve added several new options to the Settings menu, including quality of life features that were previously available through mods. These are now built directly into the game and available to everyone:
Field of View – Slider
Camera Shake – Slider
Motion Blur – On / Off
Film Grain – On / Off
Chromatic Aberration – On / Off
Lens Flares – On / Off
Vignette – On / Off
Bloom – On / Off
Startup videos – On / Off
Toggle HUD Display – On / Off
We will be opening a new general feedback form to continue to monitor our Reagents quality of life and see what other features we can try to add in-game!
